Pin-Up Series 2

Pin-Up Series, 2. Carpet. 2016. Acrylic.

Details 1 and 2.

A sister painting for Pin-Up, 1. Piano. Only the beginning of a fun series of re-imagined pin-ups!

I want this series to play with the idea of sex appeal paired with somber power.  What does a candid moment for a pin-up model look like: peeking into their private lives or capturing a moment between poses?  What could a pin-up look like today, borrowing from ideas of the past?
